The Brisbane launch of Women on Top on 14 June went off like a firecracker, when over 160 guests and contributing authors gathered from near and far to celebrate the book’s entry to the world. Authors flew in from Broome in WA, Sydney and Longreach to join south-east Queensland based authors for the fun event. GUEST SPEAKER and contributing author to Women on Top, Dr LOIS P FRANKEL, delighted guests with her generous and gracious warmth as she mingled and autographed books. She later entertained and impressed the mixed audience as she spoke around the theme, ‘What it takes to be a woman on top’.

Dr Lois Frankel is an internationally recognised business coach, speaker and author of the best-selling books ‘Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office’ and ‘Nice Girls Don’t Get Rich’, translated into over twenty-five languages. Dr. Frankel, President of Corporate Coaching International, offers frank and forthright advice to women who want to be on top of their career and relationships.

All guests received a complimentary copy of Dr Frankel’s latest book, ‘Nice Girls Just Don’t Get It: 99 ways to win the respect you deserve, the success you’ve earned and the life you want’ and ‘Women on Top’

 

Loretta Ryan, afternoon announcer on 1116 4BC Brisbane was MC of the formal part of the evening, held at The Pavilion, Allan Border  Field, Bogan Street, Breakfast Creek. A very successful raffle supporting Bravehearts Inc was held during the evening: thank you to all who generously supported their cause.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. What a truly awesome night. Met some lovely people, made some great contacts and already have appointments booked to meet with some of the ladies we met last night. My colleague Michelle is busy in her office working out where to put ‘Coco’ (the prize painting), to motivate and inspire her.
