Hetty Johnston is the Founder and Executive Director of Bravehearts Inc, Australia’s leading child protection advocate, which she established in 1997 after seeing the need firsthand. Bravehearts is an organisation whose purpose is to provide therapy, support and advocacy services to survivors of child sexual assault, and to increase prevention – by way of education and awareness – to both adults and children.

Hetty works with government and non-government agencies on legislative reform, submissions, lobbying and research to improve child protection and political accountability in Australia.
